Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81616:

Mineral Species: Datolite.
Location of origin: Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Unusually large transparent green datolite crystals on gray basalt. The crystal faces of the datolite vary from lustrous (glassy) to satin luster. Most of the crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few around the periphery are incomplete. Ex. Chet Lemanski (namesake of Lemanskiite) collection #17172CL.
Overall size: 7x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-21 mm
Price: $42 (plus shipping).
