Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81631:

Mineral Species: Datolite with minor Heulandite.
Location of origin: Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Unusually large transparent green datolite crystals with two small pearly brown heulandite crystals to 7 mm. The crystal faces of the datolite crystals have a satin luster. The datolite crystals have no matrix on the bottom where they were attached. No damage. Collected by J. Zigras (namesake of Zigrasite) ca. 2005.
Overall size: 5.5x5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-35 mm
Price: $48 (plus shipping).
