| Mineral Species: Elbaite var. Rubellite Tourmaline with facet-grade
gem nodule. Location of origin: Alto Ligonha District, Zambezia, Mozambique. Description: Lustrous transparent dark-pink rubellite tourmaline crystal, the pink gem variety of elbaite tourmaline, with striated prism faces and first- and second-order pyramidal termination faces. The bottom end shows an 8 mm facet-grade gem nodule. The crystal edges show minor chipping and wear. Collected ca. 1999. Weight: 21.90 grams. Overall size: 27x23x18 mm. Size of individual crystals: 27 mm Price: $175 (plus shipping).
