Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81693:

Mineral Species: Cassiterite (twinned crystals).
Location of origin: Durango, Mexico.
Description: Small cluster of many lustrous translucent dark-red cassiterite crystals to 2 mm with unknown colorless mineral, possibly chalcedony or calcite. The cassiterite crystals are all knee-twinned. Exact locality unknown, possibly Coneto de Comonfort. No damage. Ex. Shirley Tursla collection.
Overall size: 18x14x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
