Mineral Species: Ferberite. Location of origin: Tae Hwa Mine, Chungju, Chungchongpukdo, South Korea. Description: Lustrous black ferberite crystals in parallel orientation with no matrix. The ferberite crystals have steep, pointed terminations and striated crystallization patterns on the prism faces. One edge has a crystallized contact from adjacent ferberite. Ex. Miller collection T2462; ex. Betts #62440; originally acquired in 1972, labeled as from Tong Wha, a fictitious name to conceal the true source at Tae Wha. Overall size: 28x16x7 mm.
