Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81805:

Mineral Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of origin: Havey Quarry, Blue Moon Pocket, Poland, Androscoggin County, Maine.
Description: Lustrous transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystal with no matrix attached. The elbaite crystal has striated prism faces, with pyramidal termination, and a crystallized contact on the side where it intersected an adjacent crystal. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Weight 3.1 grams. Ex. Miller collection T952; collected by Jeff Morrison in 2015-6.
Overall size: 28x10x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 28 mm
Price: $225 (plus shipping).
