Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81807:

Mineral Species: Cuprite with Chrysocolla.
Location of origin: Mupine Mine, Kolwezi District, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Description: Lustrous translucent dark-red cuprite crystals to 9 mm with pale-green chrysocolla in crevices. The cuprite crystals are octahedral form with dodecahedral edge faces on one of the crystals. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout. Ex. Miller collection T2390; ex. Betts #60838.
Overall size: 18x16x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 9 mm
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
