Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81821:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite.
Location of origin: Puzzler Mine, Castle Dome District, 58 km northeast of Yuma, Yuma County, Arizona.
Description: Lustrous translucent yellow-brown vanadinite crystals over an earlier generation of smaller yellow vanadinite microcrystals covering all surfaces of matrix front and rear. The vanadinite crystals are hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid terminations. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Miller collection T3622; ex. Betts #77080; originally acquired from John Mediz; collected ca. 1980.
Overall size: 27x17x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 1.5 mm
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
