Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81864:

Mineral Species: Beryl var. Emerald.
Location of origin: Muzo Mine, Vasquez-Yacopí District, Boyacá Department, Colombia.
Description: Lustrous medium-green transparent emerald crystal, the green gem variety of the mineral beryl, with glassy crystal faces and flat, basal pinacoid termination that has complex parallel crystallization patterns. No damage. Weight: 2.68 carats (0.54 grams). Ex. Miller collection T2770; acquired from E. Greene in 2011.
Overall size: 13x5x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 13 mm
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
