Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 81865:

Mineral Species: Orpiment.
Location of origin: Twin Creeks Mine, Cut 62, Humboldt County, Nevada.
Description: Lustrous translucent orange orpiment crystals with remnants of dark gray matrix included in the bottom. The orpiment crystals are prismatic habit with chisel-shaped terminations. The orpiment shows pearly yellow cleavage faces around the perimeter. Ex. Miller collection.
Overall size: 20x18x18 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-16 mm
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
