Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82035:

Mineral Species: Gypsum over Devilline on Ankerite.
Location of origin: Bou Beker Mine, 21 km SSE of Oujda, Errachidia Province, Morocco.
Description: Sparkling cluster of lustrous transparent colorless gypsum crystals (variety: selenite) to 1.5 mm over green devilline on brown ankerite. This find of devilline was formerly thought to be rosasite but was later corrected. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T3942; originally acquired from Horst Burkhard (Bonn).
Overall size: 30x24x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 1.5 mm
