Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82052:

Mineral Species: Azurite.
Location of origin: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Aesthetic cluster of lustrous translucent dark-blue azurite crystals fully crystallized all around. The azurite crystals are elongated rhombohedral form with chisel-shaped terminations in subparallel groupings. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Miller collection T1922; ex. Betts #58789; ex. Fay M. Pough collection; gift from Fred H. Pough (1906-2006) in 1967.
Overall size: 20x16x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-15 mm
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
