Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82085:

Mineral Species: Prehnite (stalactitic habit).
Location of origin: Sgurr nan Cearcall, Isle of Skye, Eilean á Chèo, Scotland.
Description: Double-sided cluster of lustrous translucent green prehnite crystals in linear aggregates to 12 mm. The prehnite crystals might have formed over another mineral, perhaps laumontite, except that several formations are curved suggesting otherwise. No damage. Collected by John and Robert Lawson.
Overall size: 7.5x3.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-3 mm
Price: $80 (plus shipping).
