Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82095:

Mineral Species: Topaz on Microcline and Smoky Quartz.
Location of origin: Slieve Binnian, County Down, Ireland.
Description: Superb specimen of lustrous transparent colorless 7 mm topaz crystal standing upright off smoky quartz and microcline miarolitic cavity. The topaz crystal is prismatic form with steep pyramidal termination. Unusually large size for this obscure locality. No damage. Collected by John and Robert Lawson in 2002.
Overall size: 4x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 7 mm
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
