Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82103:

Mineral Species: Harmotome var. Morvenite (twinned crystals) on Orthoclase var. Adularia.
Location of origin: Wester Cochno, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
Description: Lustrous translucent white harmotome crystals to 3 mm over pinkish-beige adularia matrix. The harmotome crystals are twinned following the Morvenite Law with twin planes revealed by surface striations when viewed under magnification. No damage. Collected by John and Robert Lawson.
Overall size: 28x16x11 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-3 mm
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
