Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82141:

Mineral Species: Mimetite var. Campylite with Psilomelane.
Location of origin: Drygill Mine, Caldbeck Fells, Cumberland, England.
Description: Lustrous translucent red-brown campylite crystals, the barrel-shaped habit of the mineral species mimetite, intermixed with sooty brown-black psilomelane microcrystals on brown matrix. The campylite crystals are hexagonal form with convex faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T2430; ex. Betts #62524; collected in 1995.
Overall size: 23x22x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 6 mm
Price: $42 (plus shipping).
