Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82199:

Mineral Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of origin: Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Damaraland, Namibia.
Description: Lustrous transparent blue aquamarine crystal, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with no matrix attached. The aquamarine crystal is elongated hexagonal form, with flat basal pinacoid termination. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Weight: 1.2 grams. Ex. Miller collection T970; acquired in 2012.
Overall size: 26x6x4.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 26 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
