Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82218:

Mineral Species: Malachite (fibrous form).
Location of origin: Mindingi, 60 km W of Likasi, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Description: Compact crystallized mass of fibrous green malachite crystals with no apparent point of attachment. The fibrous structure of the malachite results in chatoyant luster. Ex. Miller collection T022.
Overall size: 25x20x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-10 mm
Price: $16 (plus shipping).
