Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82230:

Mineral Species: Calcite with Jamesonite inclusions.
Location of origin: Herja Mine (Kisbanya), Baia Mare, Maramures, Romania.
Description: Lustrous translucent gray-black flattened rhombohedral calcite crystals in a spherical formation fully crystallized on all surfaces. The dark color of the calcite crystals caused by microscopic jamesonite inclusions. No damage. Ex. Miller collection T3604; ex. Betts #76337.
Overall size: 14x13x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-5 mm
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
