Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82298:

Mineral Species: Epidote.
Location of origin: Lower Workings, Green Monster Mountain, south of Sulzer, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska.
Description: Lustrous translucent dark-green (transparent where thin) epidote crystals with minor quartz on the bottom contact where they were attached to the surrounding rock. The epidote crystals are prismatic form, with chisel-shaped terminations. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T1992; acquired in 2011 from E. Greene; collected in 2007.
Overall size: 31x15x14 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-31 mm
Price: $65 (plus shipping).
