Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82309:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite.
Location of origin: Hillsboro District, Sierra County, New Mexico.
Description: Several translucent red-orange vanadinite crystals perched on the edge of gray matrix. The vanadinite crystals are stubby hexagonal form with basal pinacoid terminations with first-order pyramidal edge faces. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Miller collection T2670; ex. Betts #64249; ex. Morse collection.
Overall size: 17x14x9 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.2-4.0 mm
Price: $22 (plus shipping).
