Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82421:

Mineral Species: Fluorapatite.
Location of origin: Capoeira pegmatite, Parelhas, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
Description: Lustrous transparent-to-translucent purple fluorapatite crystals with remnants of tan-colored matrix on the bottom. The fluorapatite crystals fluoresce yellow-orange under longwave and shortwave ultraviolet illumination. Ex. Miller collection T1280.
Overall size: 22x15x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-9 mm
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
