Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82477:

Mineral Species: Azurite with minor Mimetite.
Location of origin: Touissit Mine, 21 km SSE of Oujda, Jerada Province, Oriental, Morocco.
Description: Parallel lustrous dark-blue azurite crystals with complex terminations that have naturally rounded edges composed of many parallel crystal faces. The azurite crystals have a small cavity on the underside with transparent yellow mimetite crystals to 2 mm. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T3904; ex. Betts #73944; ex Jeff Weissman collection #572; collected ca. 1990.
Overall size: 30x25x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 20-24 mm
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
