| Mineral Species: Azurite and Malachite. Location of origin: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia. Description: Translucent vivid-blue bladed azurite crystals in groups of parallel crystals with lustrous prismatic faces. The azurite crystals partially altered to fibrous green malachite in some areas. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Miller collection T3720; ex. Betts #55895; ex. M. Sussman. Overall size: 30x25x24 mm.
