Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82554:

Mineral Species: Vanadinite.
Location of origin: Mibladen, Haute Moulouya Basin, Zeida-Aouli-Mibladen belt, Midelt Province, Morocco.
Description: Lustrous translucent orange-to-red vanadinite crystals that grew on intersecting thin spines of smaller vanadinite crystals. The vanadinite crystals are tabular hexagonal form and exhibit color zoning on some faces. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Miller collection.
Overall size: 24x15x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 11 mm
Price: $24 (plus shipping).
