Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82571:

Mineral Species: Calcite.
Location of origin: Meckley's Quarry, 1.2 km south of Mandata, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Description: Lustrous transparent blue-gray calcite crystals with no attached matrix. The calcite crystals are elongated scalenohedral form with deepest color in the tips of the terminations. Ex. Miller collection T3688; ex. Betts #77436; collected ca. 1996.
Overall size: 20x15x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-11 mm
Price: $14 (plus shipping).
