Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82574:

Mineral Species: Brochantite.
Location of origin: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Cluster of intersecting lustrous transparent dark-green brochantite crystals with no attached matrix. The brochantite crystals vary from pale-green thin, hair-like crystals to striated prismatic crystals with steep chisel-shaped terminations. The specimen formed in a cavity with many crystals intersecting in all directions. Most crystals are complete except in areas where they intersected adjacent crystals in the cavity. Ex. Miller collection T1042; ex. Betts #73853; collected in 2012-2013.
Overall size: 18x14x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-9 mm
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
