Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82575:

Mineral Species: Lazulite.
Location of origin: Rapid Creek, 70 km northwest of Aklavik, Yukon, Canada.
Description: Lustrous translucent dark greenish-blue lazulite crystals on brown siderite-rich matrix. Under magnification the blue color of the lazulite crystals is very apparent. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T1618; ex. Betts #57043.
Overall size: 13x10x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm
Price: $25 (plus shipping).
