Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82589:

Mineral Species: Apophyllite (pale pink).
Location of origin: Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey.
Description: Lustrous transparent pale-pink apophyllite crystals in a delicate double-sided crystallized sheet formation. The apophyllite crystals have an unusual pink color (with brownish tint) - normally apophyllite from this quarry is greenish. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Miller collection T2840; ex. Betts #58733; collected 1 September 1996.
Overall size: 30x18x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-3 mm
Price: $24 (plus shipping).
