Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82616:

Mineral Species: Colemanite.
Location of origin: 2600' Level, Kramer Deposit, Boron, Kern County, California.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless colemanite crystals with no matrix on the bottom. One corner was repaired with glue. The colemanite fluoresces under longwave and shortwave UV, and phosphoresces when illumination is extinguished. Ex. Miller collection T048; collected ca. 1970.
Overall size: 17x15x11 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 8-15 mm
Price: $8 (plus shipping).
