Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82665:

Mineral Species: Uvite Tourmaline on Quartz.
Location of origin: Brumado District, Serra das Éguas, Bahia, Brazil.
Description: Lustrous transparent-to-translucent green uvite tourmaline crystals to 13 mm on a partial crystal of transparent quartz. The uvite tourmaline crystals are tabular form with shallow three-faced pyramidal terminations and only thin 1-2 mm prism faces. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout. Ex. Miller collection T2320; ex. Betts #62449; collected ca. 2001.
Overall size: 33x19x16 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-13 mm
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
