Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82671:

Mineral Species: Covellite.
Location of origin: Bisbee, Warren District, Cochise County, Arizona.
Description: Compact crystallized mass of covellite with blue iridescent surfaces. Covellite, a copper sulfide mineral, was a major copper ore at Bisbee meaning that few specimens survived the processing plant. Ex. Miller collection T3338; collected ca. 1950.
Overall size: 32x23x18 mm.
Price: $20 (plus shipping).
