Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82686:

Mineral Species: Barite.
Location of origin: Book Cliffs, north of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless barite crystal with no attached matrix. The barite crystal is water-clear (flawless) except for a small crack in the lower rear face that does not extend through the crystal. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, but minor damage is visible under 20x magnification. Ex. Miller collection T1458.
Overall size: 20x7x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 20 mm
Price: $26 (plus shipping).
