Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82824:

Mineral Species: Quartz var. Herkimer Diamond.
Location of origin: Hickory Hill Diamond Diggings, Fonda, Montgomery County, New York.
Description: Lustrous transparent Herkimer Diamond crystal, the doubly-terminated variety of quartz from the Herkimer region, that is internally flawless (AAA grade). The Herkimer Diamond crystal has a smaller crystal on one termination face. No damage. Ex. Miller collection; ex. Betts #77133. Collected 11-12 June 1994.
Overall size: 8x7x4.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5-8.0 mm
Price: $25 (plus shipping).
