Description of Mineral Specimen for sale No. 82983:

Mineral Species: Erythrite.
Location of origin: Bou Azzer District, Anti-Atlas Mountains, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate, Morocco. (Type Locality for Erythrite) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities.
Description: Lustrous transparent violet-red erythrite crystals on gray matrix. The erythrite crystals are elongated bladed form, with angled terminations. The erythrite has excellent color and transparency for this rare species. Ex. Miller collection T2618.
Overall size: 21x9x8 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 4 mm
Price: $12 (plus shipping).
