Minerals Species: Pyrite.
Location of mineral deposit: East Colusa Mine, Butte, Montana.
Description: Lustrous brassy metallic pyrite interpenetrant twinned crystals to 15 mm with striated surfaces from the classic mine in Butte now long closed. Ex. R. Bates Collection #23.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x15x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 15 mm.
