Minerals Species: Quartz var. Herkimer Diamond.
Location of mineral deposit: Hastings Farm, Fonda, New York.
Description: Large 7 cm Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal with smaller 3 cm on the side. Minor matrix on bottom. Very clean, with no surface contacts or damage. One of the best Herkimer Diamonds ever encountered.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x7x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 7 & 3 cm.
