Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 9845:

Minerals Species: Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Pristine complex crystal cluster of cubic fluorite in crystals to 4 cm. Color is translucent purple and yellow, though must be viewed with a strong light behind. An excellent specimen from this closed mine. Ex. Roy Smith collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-4 cm.
