Mineral:Calcite on Datolite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent lustrous golden-brown doubly-terminated scalenohedral calcite crystals to 13 mm long in a cavity lined with pale-green datolite crystals to 3 mm. The calcites fluoresce bright yellow-orange under UV illumination. The front opening is sawn.
