Description: | Elongated single crystal of dark blue azurite with custom-made black base to support upright. The azurite crystal is rhombic in cross-section, with chisel-shaped termination and parallel indented faces repeated along the prism. Minor matrix on rear. Acquired from Lawrence H. Conklin (1933-2016) in 1998, reported to be from the Kegel collection. Repaired. |
