Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst Scepter
Locality:Deer Hill, Stow, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Scepter crystal of a 2 cm cap of pale purple amethyst on a milky quartz stem 5 cm long. Minor damage on termination due to glaciation collapsing the pocket. Collected ca. 1960s by Tony Motus, Rumford, Me.
