Locality:Ton Mawr Quarry, Pentyrch, Cardiff, South Glamorgan, Wales
Description:Yellow to reddish calcite crystals on plate of matrix. The crystals are well defined with slight growth pattern striations on the surface. Selective faces have reddish color, probably due to inclusions (hematite?).
Overall Size:3.5x2.5x2 cm
Crystals:5-12 mm
