Description:Large (3 cm) clear Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal in pocket on matrix. Because of their affinity to popping off matrix while breaking the hard rock, matrix specimens are rare (beware of fakes!). Back was sawn to trim matrix, pocket goes through to back. Ex. Reasenberg collection #1552
