Mineral:Quartz var. Faden-habit
Locality:Mount Ida, Ouachita Mountains, Montgomery County, Arkansas
Description:A perfect Faden-growth formation of tabular transparent quartz crystals growing out from center spine. The only point of attachment is at the very bottom, all other crystals are perfect. This is as good as the more common Waziristan crystals.
Overall Size:8x5x1.5 cm
Crystals:5-25 mm
