Locality:Kipawa Complex, 36 km east of Eagle Village First Nation - Kipawa, Québec, Canada (Type Locality for Gittinsite)
Description:Transparent yellow-gray vlasovite crystal frozen in pink eudialyte matrix. A white rind of gittinsite surrounds the vlasovite. The vlasovite crystal is exposed on both sides of the specimen. Fluoresces yellow under UV illumination.
