Mineral:Fluorite on druzy Quartz
Locality:Blackdene Mine, Ireshopeburn, Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Long plate of colorless to pale purple, cubic fluorite crystals over druzy quartz matrix. The fluorite crystals are mostly 4-6 mm across, though some are as large as 10 mm. Fluoresces violet under UV. Originally acquired from L. Conklin in 1961. Ex. J. Durkos collection #243
