Mineral:Barite on Quartz with Sphalerite
Locality:Silver King Mine, Park City, Utah
Description:Large plate of elongated colorless quartz crystals up to 2 cm long with large white bladed barite crystals to 5 cm across. Minor black sphalerite clusters to 2 mm diameter. Good specimen, minimal damage. Acquired in 1965 from the Gislers. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #B971
