Locality:Deardorff-Davis Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Glassy crystals of purple fluorite with some areas coated with drusy quartz crystals. The fluorite crystals show outer zones that are colorless, with inner phantom zone of deep purple. The crystal surfaces have many parallel faces. Minimal damage.
