Locality:Kidder Lane east of Woodland Road, Southborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts
Description:Plate of colorless quartz crystals to 10 mm long rich overgrowth of deep purple amethyst crystals up to 12 mm diameter. From a one-time find discovered in a housing development. One of the best specimens I was able to obtain. Collected in 2000.
