Mineral:Calcite on Quartz
Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Pristine white quartz crystals up to 2.5 cm long with overgrowth of scalenohedral white calcite crystals. Most of the calcite crystals are 1-2 mm long, but there is one 3 cm calcite on the back. Minor pyrite.
